Responsible for securing, maintaining, and auditing security controls on critical infrastructure with minimal business impact. Client objectives are achieved through leveraging automation, use of custom-built tools, and development of comprehensive procedures. Presently developing a diverse set of security offerings to assist clients with resiliency, recovery, observability, and management.

Responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the City’s applications, mixed-vendor network, and mixed-vendor servers in support of the City’s mission. Also serves as helpdesk technician, web-developer, and python programmer on an ad-hoc basis. In the midst of a global pandemic in March of 2021 I was selected to spearhead the City’s information security initiative as the City’s first CISO. In addition to daily responsibilities, I worked to build the city into a modern and secure organization through modernization of systems, creation of organizational policies, and application of security frameworks and best practices.
